Pond Supplies are easy to find
The ins and outs of planning a manmade lake or pond
Ok, you have decided that you want to build a lake in your back yard, or you have decided that you want to built a pond in your back yard. You must be thinking, what is the difference? Well, yes, they are really the same thing, they are both hole in the ground, they both have water in them, they both can have fish n them, they both can run like a river if you so choose, they are both the same think, the only difference is that a pond is smaller than a lake, and most of the time a pond has a sort of water feature to it, so that it will have a sort of fake rock formation, a little water fall, a few different levels, but you will also get a pond that is just a hole filled with water, a small pond pump, a pond filter and a fish thrown into the mix. You could use all of the pond supplies for a lake to if you wanted, because you do not get as many lake supplies as you get pond supplies.
A new back yard with a pond
Planning a lake in your back yard
So you have a large back yard? You want to do something with the space, and you want to get rid of all the crap lying in the corner. Well I do not blame you, we all want our places to look good, there is nothing worse than inviting people over for a barbecue and having them come over to a messy house or a messy back yard, were we usually have barbecues. Even worse, there is nothing worse than being invited to some ones place only to find that the place is an absolute mess. We all know that we have barbecues in the back yard, and if you are planning to have one, you have to make sure that your back yard is clean, you have to make sure that you have enough sitting places and you have to make sure that the inside of your home is clean, but let’s get back to the subject at hand. You want to make you back yard look nice. Ask yourself this first, it is your own back yard? Because if it is not your own back yard and you are just renting then you should not do anything to it, because when you move you will have to leave it the way you made it. So own your back yard before you make any renovation plans.
